A cosy traditional family run local pub with good food and a beer garden located in the heart of historic Ripon. The Golden Lion offers a warm welcome for locals and visitors to beautiful Ripon alike situated a 5 minute walk from town centre car and coach parks.
The pub is now operated by experienced hospitality professionals Dan and Tracy Prince supported in the kitchen by their son Jack. In winter the real fires keep everyone cosy and in the summer visitors enjoy the sunshine in the pub’s secret beer garden. The Golden Lion welcomes cyclists and is able to provide safe storage for bicycles in our garden or yard whilst enjoying refreshments at the pub.
